What it's for
Supports the digestion of protein, fat, dairy and beans, nutrient absorption, and digestive comfort after meals.*
Enzymes break food down: protease for protein, lipase for fat, lactase for milk sugar, alpha-galactosidase for the carbohydrates in beans and cruciferous vegetables. This capsule carries all of them, plus bromelain and papain.
Enzymes are measured by activity, not weight, so the panel lists each in its own unit.
What it won't do
Makzyme-Pro™ is a blend: its 400 mg total and 2,500 HUT protease activity are printed, but not the split between the protease and the three probiotic strains.
Bromelain comes from pineapple and papain from papaya. Skip it if you are allergic to either, or to latex. Bromelain can add to the effect of blood thinners.

Shipped
Packed and dispatched from a warehouse in the United States. Current processing and delivery times are in our shipping policy.
The manufacturing, processing, packaging and holding processes are audited against 21 CFR Part 111, Part 117 and the NPA GMP Standard for Dietary Supplements, with certification status confirmed by UL Solutions or NSF depending on the product. That certification covers the facility, not individual batches, which carry their own certificates of analysis.

Yes. This product is third-party tested by a laboratory accredited to ISO/IEC 17025, and it is made in an FDA-registered, GMP-certified facility. Email us and we'll send the certificate of analysis for the lot you received.
It depends on the product and on you. Creatine, for example, typically needs consistent daily use over several weeks before saturation. We're not going to give you a number that sounds impressive — take it as directed and judge it over a full container.
Ask your doctor or pharmacist first. That isn't a legal formality — supplements can interact with prescription medication, and we have no way of knowing your situation. This also applies if you're pregnant, nursing, or managing a medical condition.
