How to take it
- Loading, if you want it: one scoop (5.6 g) in 8 oz of water or juice, four times a day for the first five days.
- After that, one or two scoops daily.
- You can skip loading entirely — it just takes longer to saturate.
- Timing doesn't matter. Consistency does.
What it's for
Creatine is the most researched supplement in sports nutrition, and the one where the evidence is least argued over. Your body makes some and food gives you some, but not at the levels used in the studies — which is the entire reason supplementing exists.
This is plain creatine monohydrate at 5,000 mg a scoop. Not a blend, not a matrix, no flavour system. The ingredient list is one line long.
What it won't do
Our supplier's written description says the tub holds 250 g. The Supplement Facts panel says 50 servings of 5.6 g, which comes to 280 g, and the printed label says 9.9 oz (281 g). We have gone with the panel and the label. If you weigh yours and it comes out at 250 g, tell us and we will correct this page.
Creatine is not a stimulant and you will not feel it working. Judge it over weeks of consistent use, not days.
A loading phase is optional. Skipping it gets you to the same place, just more slowly.

It depends on the product and on you. Creatine, for example, typically needs consistent daily use over several weeks before saturation. We're not going to give you a number that sounds impressive — take it as directed and judge it over a full container.
Ask your doctor or pharmacist first. That isn't a legal formality — supplements can interact with prescription medication, and we have no way of knowing your situation. This also applies if you're pregnant, nursing, or managing a medical condition.
