How to take it
- One capsule a day, 20–30 minutes before a meal, with 8 oz of water.
- CoQ10 is fat-soluble, so pair it with a meal that has some fat in it.
- Morning suits most people.
What it's for
CoQ10 is a compound every cell uses to turn food into energy, especially in the heart and muscles. The body makes its own, and production falls with age.
This is 200 mg of ubiquinone per capsule, the standard and most studied form, in a single daily capsule with rice flour as the only filler.
What it won't do
Statins lower the body's own CoQ10, which is why the two are often discussed together. If you take a statin, ask your doctor rather than deciding on your own.
CoQ10 can interact with warfarin and other blood thinners, and with blood pressure medication. If you take either, talk to a doctor first.
This is ubiquinone, not ubiquinol. Ubiquinol is sometimes sold as better absorbed; the evidence is mixed, and ubiquinone is the form most studies used.

It depends on the product and on you. Creatine, for example, typically needs consistent daily use over several weeks before saturation. We're not going to give you a number that sounds impressive — take it as directed and judge it over a full container.
