How to take it
- One softgel a day.
- Take it with a meal that has some fat in it. Vitamin D is fat-soluble.
- Time of day doesn't matter. Consistency does.
What it's for
Vitamin D is one of the nutrients people most often fall short on, especially through winter or with little time outdoors. Your skin makes it from sunlight, and food provides very little.
This is 2,000 IU of vitamin D3, the cholecalciferol form, in one softgel a day. It is aimed at adults who want a plain, single-nutrient D3 at an everyday dose rather than a multivitamin.
What it won't do
The softgel is gelatin, so this one is not vegetarian or vegan. It also contains soybean oil and corn oil.
If you already take a multivitamin or another vitamin D product, add the amounts together. The upper limit the NIH sets for adults is 4,000 IU a day.

It depends on the product and on you. Creatine, for example, typically needs consistent daily use over several weeks before saturation. We're not going to give you a number that sounds impressive — take it as directed and judge it over a full container.
Ask your doctor or pharmacist first. That isn't a legal formality — supplements can interact with prescription medication, and we have no way of knowing your situation. This also applies if you're pregnant, nursing, or managing a medical condition.
