What it's for
Lion's mane is the mushroom people ask for by name. This is 1,000 mg per two-capsule serving, standardised so that 400 mg of it is polysaccharides — the fraction that standardisation is measured against.
It is aimed at people who want a single-ingredient mushroom capsule rather than a blend where the actual mushroom content is anyone's guess.
What it won't do
It contains mycelium as well as fruiting body. Mycelium is grown on grain, and the grain often ends up in the powder — which is why some people insist on fruiting-body-only products. Ours is both, and the label does not split the ratio. That is a real limitation and you should know it before you buy.
The 40% polysaccharide standardisation is the manufacturer's figure. The certificate of analysis we hold for this product covers heavy metals and microbial contamination, not a polysaccharide assay — so that number is not verified by the certificate we can send you.
The research on lion's mane and cognition is early and mostly small. It is not a treatment for anything.

It depends on the product and on you. Creatine, for example, typically needs consistent daily use over several weeks before saturation. We're not going to give you a number that sounds impressive — take it as directed and judge it over a full container.
