What it's for
Collagen is the main structural protein in skin, hair, nails, tendons and bone, and the body makes less of it with age. Hydrolysed collagen peptides are collagen broken into short chains, so they dissolve easily.
This is 20 g per scoop from grass-fed bovine hide, types I and III, with nothing added. It is aimed at people who want a plain collagen they can stir into what they already drink.
What it won't do
The tub holds 14 servings, so at one scoop a day it lasts two weeks. Each serving is a full 20 g.
Collagen is a protein but not a complete one. It is low in some essential amino acids, so it does not replace protein from food or a protein powder.
It is sold by weight, not volume, and the powder settles in transit. A tub that looks less than full is not short.
It comes from cattle, so it is not vegetarian or vegan.

It depends on the product and on you. Creatine, for example, typically needs consistent daily use over several weeks before saturation. We're not going to give you a number that sounds impressive — take it as directed and judge it over a full container.
